He has participated in three cushion billiards tournaments, and he was in the top 10 at the Illinois 3-cushion tournament. He also visits a local billiards club every month in the Twin Cities.
Nguyen Queyet Nguyen, Tran Quyetchien, and Tran Qyet Nguyen are the top ranked billiards gamers in Vietnam. Both of them are ranked among the top 10 in the world. Both players are currently among the top 8 with Tran Quet Chien being number 7. Both players are the tournament's champions. Ngo Dinh Nai is ranked number 29. Jeremy Bury of France is ranked number 18.
The next tournament to be held in Vietnam will be the 3-Cushion Carom Billiards Continental Cup on December 20-22 in Seoul. The tournament will see eight top Vietnamese players competing. The total prize pool will be approximately 160,000 US dollars. In addition to the tournament, there will be a number of other events and events will be held throughout the year.
The United States Billiard Association is the official governing body of carom-billiards in America. Each year, the National Championship is held by the USBA. The USA will be represented at the Pan-American Championship by the top two National Championship players.

The winner of the Las Vegas World Cup 3-cushion billiards tournament will win a cash prize of $20,000. This is the first time the Vietnamese have sent a representative to the semi-finals.
