Dafabet Returns to Sponsor the World Pool Masters Title

Dafabet will once again be the title sponsor of the World Pool Masters. Dafabet is an online sports betting operator that partners with many high-profile brands such as Celtic FC, Norwich City FC and the Warwickshire County Cricket Team. Dafabet is also a sponsor of the British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship. Dafabet was previously the title sponsor for the World Pool Masters 2017 and 2019.

Gibraltar will host the 2020 World Pool Masters. This tournament will feature 24 top players from around the world for a $100,000 prize. The tournament tickets will be available for purchase on Monday, December 9, to Matchroom Pool Club members, and Tuesday, December 10, to the public. David Alcaide last year was the champion and will be defending his title against a top-notch field of players.

Dafabet World pool Masters

Dafabet has extended its title sponsorship deal for the World Pool Masters. The tournament will be played in Gibraltar, 22-25 May 2019. The company was a title sponsor of the World Pool Masters in 2017 and 2018. Dafabet also offers sponsorship deals for other sports. In the past, Dafabet has partnered both with LaLiga's football tournament and with Durham's Sussex cricket side.

Dafabet World Pool Masters (a nine-ball pool tournament) is an international competition. It is one of the most loved events in its genre, with an increasing amount of money available each year for the winners. The prize fund for the event this year was $100,000. David Alcaide from Spain won the tournament. In the final, Alcaide beat Greek Alexander Kazakis by double the final ball's length. Niels Feijen won the last year's tournament by beating Shane Van Boening. David Alcaide was also defeated during the first round.

Joshua Filler

Joshua Filler, a Bonen German pool player, has made waves in the world professional pool. The 21-year-old has won the China Open and the 10-ball European Pool Championships. He is the youngest player to win either one of these competitions. He is the youngest person to win the European Pool Championships.


Filler started playing the sport at age seven and was already competing at the national level. At twenty-two, Filler was able to make his Mosconi Cup debut. He also represented Europe at the event. He went on to win both the China Open 9 ball tournament and the European Pool Championship. In the final, he defeated Italian Carlo Biado to win his first world championship. In addition to winning the World Pool Masters, he also won the Mosconi Cup, the World Cup of Pool, and the US Open Pool Championship.

Lo Ho-sum

Lo Hosum, the first Hong Kong player to make it to the World Pool Masters finals, expressed concerns over a recent budget cut. Despite his recent success in the sport, he remains relatively unknown outside of his homeland. Lo entered the Gibraltar tournament as a wildcard player and won several matches to reach the final. He beat Shane Van Boening, but lost to Joshua Filler. Lo's heroics brought an end to the tie at six.

The World Pool Masters nine-ball competition is held every other year to find the best pool players. This event began in Europe and has been expanded to include other players. Lo has a solid professional record and has maintained a high rank throughout his career.

Sanchez Ruiz

Francisco Sanchez Ruiz is the winner of the 2022 US Open Pool Championship. His victory over Max Lechner was 13-10. He is now at the top in the Live Nineball World Rankings, and he has won $50,000 as the first prize. Sanchez Ruiz is also the first Spanish player ever to win one of the oldest majors in pool. Sanchez Ruiz's win also saw him surpass Shane Van Boening at the $100,000 mark.

Sanchez Ruiz was forced to fight through many tough moments against Filler. He was able to overcome his initial nervousness and win after making two consecutive racks. Sanchez Ruiz won with a two-rack buffer after Filler came back to tie the score at three points.
