He was second in World ten-ball.

In the same year, he won European Pool Championship. He was the winner of the WPA World 9ball Championship as well as the Leende Open. He was also the US Open 9 ball champion.
Albin beats Saris in the Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open
The 9-ball individual competition of the Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open is now underway. The Netherlands' largest sports channel, Ziggo Sports Channel will broadcast the first match live. There will be a semi-final and the final.
Ivar Saris was defeated by Albin Ouschan in an exciting match. Albin won nine points out of ten to win the victory. To reach the knockout round, Albin will next face the winner in the Erol Kayas-vs Michel Bartol match.
David Alcaide beats Shane Van Boening in the Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open
The Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open will be ending in its final phase. Shane Van Boening could win the title. American had previously won last year's Predator World 10-ball Championship. Joshua Filler, World Pool and Billiards Association 9ball champion, will take on Filler in the final. Both men had overcome challenging draw conditions. Filler won the final round against Gerson Martnez of Peru, and Van Boening met Fedor Gorst from Russia. Filler was able to win the second phase matches by four games.
Van Boening won the 64-player bracket as the top seed. He spent hours practicing his break shot in Qatar. He used this to easily beat his first four opponents. The combined score was 44-14. He beat Orcollo and beat David Alcaide the next round.
