
Joe Perry is a snooker player you are likely to have seen for some time. British snooker star, Perry spent several seasons at lower levels. But he has also had a couple of seasons in the top reaches of the game. In 2002, he reached the Top 16 for the first time. However, he has spent three seasons outside the top 20.
Joe Perry has been called "The Fen Potter" and "The Gentleman". He is a Cambridgeshire resident and became professional in 1992. He's been a fulltime professional since 2003. Ken, his older brother, is also a professional.
Perry has been a regular on the global stage, even though he has not won a major ranking event. Perry finished within the top eight provisional rankings in 2011, and won a minor ranking event in 2015. He made his fourth Masters appearance and was in a fight with Ronnie O'Sullivan.

Perry has reached the finals of the European Open and UK Championship. He has also been to the quarterfinals of the World Championship. He reached the semi finals of the UK Championship in 2004, but was defeated by David Gray. He defeated Stuart Bingham, Judd Trump and went on to lose in the final to Stephen Hendry.
At the tender age of 12, he started his snooker journey. He rose to prominence as a professional in the 1990s. He reached finals in the European Open 2001. In the spring of 2001, he won his second European Open final. After that, he played in the Wuxi Classic in 2014.

He participated in the Xuzhou Open as well as the Welsh Open later that year. At the close of that season, his standings had fallen to a disappointing 14th.
Despite losing to Stephen Hendry (Graeme Dott) and Stephen Hendry, he still managed to place in the top half world rankings. He has won the Welsh Open Masters (Welsh Open Masters), and the Xuzhou Open. And he has also run courses to teach people how to play the game.

He's made many attempts to beat Ronnie O'Sullivan over the course of his career. He won a 9-5 victory at the UK Championship's first round in 2008. He was just one frame away of the Masters finals in 2017, but lost to Ronnie O'Sullivan.
In the first round, he defeated Mark Selby, the current champion. He also won 2015's Xuzhou Open. In addition, he has a number of courses and has been a guest commentator for the BBC.
