
Bitmasters released the video game Pool Champion. The game is available for Windows. It's about a pool player, who has to take the balls and put them into the right positions and hit them on the table, using only the cues on his or her pool stick.
Two world-class players play in the game, Shane Van Boening & Thorsten Hohmann. They are both German players and are considered to some of the most skilled in the game. In their matches, they were able to defeat each other.
While playing in the World Pool Championship last year, Shane Van Boening thought that his window of opportunity was closing. He had been enjoying the single-elimination portion of the tournament and wondered if he should quit. He quickly recovered. After trailing 7-6 in the first, he was able force the second set to a tiebreaker.
